This golden-colored beer exports attracted by its fresh, hoppy aroma. The use of selected malts and hops from the Hallertau Ettaler Edelhell gives his special touch.

500 ml bottle from Premier Gourmet. Pours golden in colour, with moderate white head. Leaves tonnes of lacing. Nice balance between noble hops and sweet malt!

500ml bottle. No freshness date. It pours a somewhat mundane gold with a lousy head. This may be a bit oxidized unfortunately. We will see. It also smells old. Old hops, old malt. Just stale. The flavor is also stale, but drinkable. Any hopes of noble hop flavors and aroma has fallen by the wayside. It is a good beer at heart but this just isn’t fresh.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with little head. Faint malt aroma. Very light taste with some bitterness upfront. Also a metallic and vegetable taste. Not sure how old the bottle was. This is an average lager with a crisp finish.

Test vom 13.3.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,14,6,8,10 - 9,15

Cloady yellow with suspended particle and a white head. Malt aroma. Taste is quite sweet with light hops and a sticky finish. Medium body. Too malty.

Not much in aroma, the flavor is typical of helles beers but rather sour. Not sure if this has gone bad or not, but it could have been better.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 1pt. 0.9oz bottle into a into a mug. The label has no freshness date or abv. Appearance: It has a bright, deep golden color with great clarity and nice active carbonation that helps support the head. Its head builds up tall, light and fluffy from an aggressive pour. This quickly settles to a thin covering that holds on well. Lacing is spotty and slick. Smell: The nose has a light pale maltiness with a touch of raw grain and a light bready sweetness. This is balanced by a nice crisp floral/spicy hop character. Taste/Palate: It starts with a good pale malt base that also brings some mild bready and caramel sweetness. This is backed up with firm floral/earthy/spicy character that balances the malt. The palate is medium bodied, crisp and well carbonated. Notes: This is a great all-around drinking beer. It’s nicely balanced and wonderfully drinkable.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden, long-lasting white crown. Nice bready pale malts, maybe a touch of caramel, soft grassy hops, mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy. A little simple, but very well made and tasty.

Botttle from Half Time. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Light bready aroma with some light noble/citric hop. Med body. It is a little bready, and the hop is not strong. A light beer with body. The hop tends to dominate the finish, which surprises since it’s not too bitter. Quite drinkable, but not strongly flavored.

Bottle. Poured a relatively pale color, medium sized foamy really white head. Sweet malts, grassy notes. Flavor was pretty light, clean but not very interesting. I would say it is a good palate cleanser, but nothing spectacular here.
