2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 YogiBeera (2436) - Hamburg, GERMANY - OCT 9, 2004
Thank you hotstuff and thedm for bringing this to our little ratingsession. Straw yellow color, small layer of a head. Not much in the nose. Kind of grassy taste. Not a good pils.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 thedm (4126) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 12, 2004
This The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 85. This bottled brew from the Ettaler Monastery in Oberammergau Germany poured a large head of foamy fine to medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and yellow in color. Its aroma contained notes of malt and was very mild. Its mouth feel is smooth with a slightly tingly palate and a malty aftertaste. Its flavor contained malty hoppy notes that favored the malts. A very average brew.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 26, 2009
(Draught@Sailors) Very buttery-malty aroma with slightly harsh, grassy hoppiness. Butter also dominating the flavor, with pear-fruity hints and some grassy hops. Medium body, lowish carbonation. Quite sweet and basic, buttery pils.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 TBone (9414) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 27, 2009
Draught@Kaisla.
Pale yellow color, small white head. Grainy, a bit buttery malty aroma with light grassy hops. Sweet malty flavor, fizzy carbonation. Like Seppo said ... some fruity pear notes, almost like drinking perry. Boring pale lager.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 FatPhil (6207) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 5, 2009
Keg (Kaisla, Helsinki)
Vague sour almondy aroma. Pleasant carbonation, fairly watery palate.
Soft malty body, some slightly emasculated hops. Slightly milky and a
touch of almond. Not much finish, a bit of hops I guess. A little
sticky, but does quench a thirst. Really not enough bite for a pils.
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 hotstuff (3249) - Indiana, USA - OCT 30, 2004
Bottle from the Ettaler Monastery in Oberammergau, Germany. White head, fair lacing, transparent, carbonated and a pale yellow hue. Weak malt aroma. Malt and lightly bitter flavor. Light bodied pilsener and very boring IMO.
1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - JAN 23, 2002
A faint, slightly unpleasant nose kind of fart-like greets you. The color is a little too pale blond for me. The taste is weak and not balanced: basically buttery with a touch of bitter. Has a creamy mouthfeel, yet a very thin body at the same time. Not a good beer.
