Slight apple aroma. Hoppy, dusty flavor. Fairly thin, hint of cardboard. Bitter aftertaste. Disappointing flavor with some quality problems.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, pale malt, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass, crispy hops. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, nice crispy and fresh - lovely. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120417]

Gelungen! 9/12/12/13/8/12

Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Golden, clear, stable mid-sized head, typical aromas of clean sweet pale-malt and aromatic, herbal grassy hops; moderate to stronger bitter-sweet flavour, malty base detectable, nevertheless light bodied, but not watery; well rounded finish: aromatic hops, balanced by a distinctive dash of pale malt. Superb bavarian-bohemian Pils..........

(bottle, fresh from the brewery) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Fresh herbal hoppy aroma with a light note of citrus. Bitter flavour, soft malty base with a distinctive herbal hops accentuation; light bodied, but far away from being watery; dry and bitter finish with a soft balancing malty sweetness and an aromatic herbal hops character. Not that complex but very well-made.
