Dark orange color, very cloudy. Yeasty mandarin aroma and flavor. Prickly mouthfeel.

Hefig würziger aber auch wässriger Antrunk. Das Aroma ist zudem malzig, das Grundaroma ist somit ausgeglichen und gelungen – leider aber meist zu wässrig. Erst spät, als noch ein guter Schuss Herbe hinzukommt, festigt sich das Bier. Das Bier dürfte aber auch hier gerne noch intensiver sein, was den gegebenen Süffigkeitsfaktor auch nicht beeinflusen würde. OK. 10/9/10/9/9/9

Bottle (brewed by Sperber, Sulzbach): Deep golden, cloudy, big loose head, slowly collapsing, distinctive sweet-fruity nose (bananas and oranges and... apples?) with traces of (necrotic) yeast and wheat in the background; distinctive sweet flavour with a light acidity, medium bodied; sweetish wheaty-fruity finish with a yeasty tartness in the very end. A "mighty" Weizen, but nonetheless refreshing..........

(bottle) Cloudy, orange to amber colour with a huge, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and yeasty, moderately wheaty malt aroma with notes of orange zest and vanilla. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty, moderately yeasty and citrus fruity taste with notes of vanilla; yeasty, slightly fruity and mellow finish. Balanced and quaffable Hefeweizen.
