kieleszd (83), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Jun 9, 2008 This looks like a mead. It has a thick opaque look to it and has a refreshing, relaxing taste. You can really taste the honey and later the citrus note. This is the first great wheat ale I have found, truly diserving of an orange.
Angeloregon (1891), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 20, 2008 On tap at Bailey’s Tap Room in Portland, OR--Poured a hazy orange-golden hue with a mild creamy white head. Wheaten, sweet, honeyed, citrus nose with flavorful yeasty esters. Drinkable, subtle, smooth, brew. Very nice. Thaichile (594), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA Aug 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours alight yellow with slight, quickly disappearing head. Nose is undiscernable. That pretty much describes the beer. It is not unpleasent, just doesn’t take you anywhere. Slightly sweet, with no noticeable orange notes. It was completely drinkable, but there is no reason to seek this one out again. timfoolery (341), California, USA Aug 7, 2008 Bottle from PC Market of Choice in Ashland, OR. Not much to add to the previous ratings. This was just kinda blah. It was beer. stchloe (96), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 31, 2008 For a wheat beer its pretty good, the orange flavor is not a total lie. But compared to the rest of beer kind, meh. DTM (373), Winters, California, USA Jul 31, 2008 Bottle from PC Market of Choice in Ashland, CA. Poured a hazy orange color. Slighty sweet aroma. Thin-bodied beer that had a light honey/orange flavor. Not bad, but just too thin on the palate.
