22 oz. bottle. Pours a thin head over a cloudy, orangy body, with good lacing.....nose is mild grapefruit citrus, with a bit of resiny pine....taste early is mild malt sweet, later grapefruit bitterness....mouth feel is medium, carbonation low to medium. This is a mid level Pale Ale with lower hopping than some, and is less complex than the best.

Had on tap at Rogue brewery in Portland. Light brown color with small head. Piney hop aroma. Very good carbonation. Lots of hops, very bitter finish. This was very hoppy for a pale ale. I thought it was a triple IPA at first.

Svesse (6296) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUN 29, 2009
(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Pale amber colour with frothy, beige head, leaving some lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with orange peel, grapefruit and a touch of pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, grapefruit, crystal malt and fresh, piney hops in the finish. A certain bitterness comes through the aroma hops as well. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Nice beer with a generous, aromatic hop character.

Pours orange/amber with a very nicely packed off white head, looks great! Nose has a heap of resiny, grassy hops with citrus and caramel malt supporting. Palate translates well, caramel/toffee malt shows early (not overly sweet) before hops take charge, driving a long finish with med/high bitterness.
