Tap at brewpub.
Pours a maple syrup amber with a thin body and an aroma of faint rose. Flavor is hoppy, bitter, grapefruit. Average mouthfeel. Good brew.

Pours a transparent copper orange with a stringy-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt and juicy resiny grapefruity hops. Body starts fairly full with good malty sweetness well-balanced with an assertive, but not overpowering hoppy bitterness before a crisp bittersweet finish. Smooth and drinkable, a nice APA.

Draught @ Brewer’s on the Bay, Newport, OR. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy aroma with some hints of citrus. Malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of citrus.

This one pours a translucent orange with a one-finger white head that lingers as a cap for quite a while leaving decent lacing. Citrus aroma dominate the smell with oranges, lemons and grapefruits throughout. The is a bit of caramel malts and a touch of pine in the nose as well. The taste has a bracing bitterness that I don’t often find in an APA with the citrus up front giving way to the malt background. It’s the pine hops that leave the big bitterness in the finish between sips. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and sticky with hops and has tons of carbonation. This is a great APA and very drinkable. Recommended.

Shared w/ doboy, DrBayern and Steve! Poured a nice hazy amber, forming decent off white foamy head. Aroma of slight grapefruits, floral hops, peppery herbs. Lacing was terrific as I quaffed it down eagerly. An outstanding pale ale from Eugene City (aka Rogue), flavour was full, bitter hops perfectly balance with lovely malts. Well done beer, wish I had a keg of it on tap. 22oz bomber from liquidsolutions.

Once again, Celticbrew reached into his bag of tricks to surprize us with this third leg of our Track Town Contest! Along with Buddy Steve and The invincible Drbayern, we drank. It poured a light amber color, though somewhat cloudy, with a nice head that retained through the tasting. As we drank, it laced well. The hop aroma was very nice. The mouth feel was very good, and the citrusy hops sprang forth in the mouth. It was nicely carbonated.

From the bottle. Pours cloudy gold with a small white head. Lots of floral hops in the nose, tangerine and some earthy notes to them. Bigger malts build up the flavor, bready and caramel malt flavors pair nicely against the fruity hop finish. Good overall flavor, nice synergy to the flavors, building a nice hoppy pale.

Cloudy yellow with no lasting head. Minimal aroma. Creamy and hoppy. Malt balances hops well. Nice overall pale ale, a bit bigger than I expected and well brewed.
