Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate maltysweet molasse aroma. Very sweet flavor, average finish. Oily palate, but way too sweet for my taste.

29-APR-2011, bottle @apartment in Barcelona, from local supermarket. Nose is weak with a slightly bitter unpleasant note that could be cannabis. Thin taste, a little body that mainly comes from some residual sugar. Cannabis is on the taste as well, now that I know it. No real hoppy bitterness but some alcohol. Not the worst brew but I prefer to smoke my marihuana;-)

Bottle BBE 09.09.2010 (bought from Milan). Clear amber colour, white head. Syrupy malty aroma. Sweet malty taste with some alcohol. Decent body and a good balance. Don’t know how this is related to cannabis but as a beer I enjoyed this. ;)

Yeasty, tangerine aroma. Pours golden amber with thin white head. Light and mildly refreshing. There are hops here and alcohol is well hidden.

330ml bottle (Aumm Aumm, Rome)
Orangy brown. Sweet malt-drink aroma, with a hint of mint and menthol. Malt dominates the taste. A touch of burntness builds up over time. There’s something a bit cactussy there too, presumably the cannabis flavour. Perfumey in the finish and a bit of treacle too. I guess it hid the alcohol quite well, but it’s not my thing.

what i gathered from the website is that the ’red power’ version of this beer contains no cannabis at all-- because of all the marketing hassles associated with real ’cannabis, the original’. bummer dude! i was dying to spark up a bottle and put on a beatles record. in the absence of that novelty ingredient, we’re left with a strange german take on the theme of an american malt liquor. from mellow hippy scene to compton, bitch. i guess i’ll chug this, put on some rap and polish my nine instead. yo, i’m about to get wooded up on this motha fucka... this is a popcorn kernel yellow-orange colored liquid, with less head than marie antoinette after her little fall from grace. aroma is freshly torn scrap metal-- like that wonderful smell when you first open a big box of galvanized nails, oh it makes you celebrate just being alive! then come subtle notes of melting nogahide, apple peel and corn husks. the carbonation is crazy with scrubbing bubbles, while the flavor is a poor little unsophisticated donkey overloaded with a great burden of sweetness and overt alcohol. it’s a hard apple cider combined with some bock-like malt flavors, a bit of bread and wine, and a watery feel. not a total disaster, though admittedly some of my animosity was extinguished by the salubrious buzz. rather, it’s merely curious and moderately misguided: like, i dunno, maybe like trying to blend rap music with the beatles.

Pours blond. First time having a beer with a big cannabis leaf on the beer bottle, didn’t quite know what to expect. Had a bitter flavor but it was actually fairly sweet, which probably explains the 8% ABV. Average.

D’Jorge, Barcelona, 26 June 2009. Golden transparent lager with a fullbodied sweet malty flavor. Well balanced with the bitterness although the alcohol appears in the end, deminishing the experience somewhat.

Niente di eccezionale, ma superiore a quanto mi aspettassi. Una birra da sbronza, per esser sinceri, il grado alcolico è l’unica cosa che veramente si sente, il resto trascurabile.
