May 10, 2009 Cask 4.2%. Low, white nitro head. Clear amber body. Caramel malty to the nose. Initial hoppy taste followed by sweet malts balanced by a lasting bitter finish. Likeable. (half at The Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool 03.05.2009).

May 10, 2009 Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’09. Amber with white head. Light malty welsh type bitter without much character. Some bitter hopped dryness, a little biscuit in the malt, with ovaltine sweetness, but hard to enthuse about.

Aug 7, 2008 Cask@WetherspoonChepstow. Not much aroma, just light malty, light floral and a hint of herbs. Light hazy, yellow color, off-white head, good lace. Light sweet, bitter, fruity, hint of flowers, hint of butter, soft mouthfeel.
