COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden beer brewed to the Belgian Triple style, it presents a spicy, sweet aroma redolent of vanilla and honey. The palate is malty with honey-like up front, becoming somewhat drier and warm in the long spicy finish.

Aroma if banana nuts and Belgian yeast. Some sweet. Flavor follows the aroma. Pretty nice beer actually. Light carbonation but overall a very enjoyable Belgian. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had on tap at the Albany Pump Station on 12/22/12. It pours a fairly typical cloud orange, exactly what Iíd expect given the style. There is a fleeting white head that didnít last particularly long. This strong ale has an interesting aroma, one that reminded me of sassafras and spice; I actually enjoyed it. The taste is pretty typical of the style, spicy with yeasty esters. Unfortunately, it falls fairly flat. Itís not offensive, but itís somewhat uninteresting.

Pouring at BCTC. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Fuzzy musk, sweet caramel. Medium bodied, candy, sweet malt. Sweet candy malt, esters, malt, more sweet candy notes leading into a yeast heavy finish.

Draft. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Spicy yeast, banana-sweet fruity notes, a hint of berry, and anise-like spicy notes. Not bad.

Very pale straw colour. The nose is chock-full of dirty phenolics. Thereís a bit of clove, but mostly, there is a sort of cooked vegetable DMS flavour. White sugar sweetness before finishing with a lingering honeyish character. Fruity and rancid. Ack. These guys need to sort out their yeast issues.

Draft at the brewpub. Marketed as a triple, its like the pale only more yeasty. Some brown sugar. Above average mouthfeel. Yellow with lace. Boozy, pepper,c orriander, ginger.

Clear gold coloured body with a light head that tops the beer nicely. Aroma of malt, lemons and alcohol. Full-bodied; Strong sweetness, the honey and sugars dominate this one completely. Aftertaste is very strong and alcoholic, but shows quality throughout. I sampled this on draught at the Albany Pump Station in Albany, New York on 25 June 2006.

Pours copper with a white head. Smells spicy and sweet with lots of dark fruiity hints. Tastes sweet and spicy with a peppery finish.

On tap at the Pump Station, 13 July 07. Definitely a Tripel-style, served in proper glassware. Not bad, you donít often see Tripels on tap in this area, brewed locally or not. Would drink it again.
