Growler. I recorded this as Cherry Devil Ale. Jimacks invitational 07. Dark brown, Sour cherries, candy sugar. Good beer.

Muddy red-brown. Total cherry pie experience including the pastry crust. It’s like Baruka’s blueberry gum experience from the original Willie Wonka movie, only with cherry pie. Slight chewiness. Not sweet, not tart. They found a nice balance there.

Cloudy, dirty looking dark caramel body covered by a lasting off-white ring. Not too aromatic, but earthy cherries are felt. Little in the way of yeastiness. Bready and surprisingly highly sour. Mild leafy finish is coherent with the yeasty uncleanliness. Crusty and spicy palate, reminding of white pepper at times, of wood chunks at others. Limited fruitiness and a bit dark for its sour intentions.

Thanks to Slander for bringing this one to Jimacks. Nice dark brown amber color with a small head. Wonderful oak cherry aroma. Taste is kick ass. Delicous smooth malts with a ton of cherries. Great fruit flavor for this style of beer. Being 1 1/2 hours from the Station I would go up there for this one.
