COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Two yeast strains were used to craft this complex, yet drinkable beer. Yeast-derived fruity and spicy tones dominate, while toasty Vienna malt provides a sturdy foundation. Unlike American pale ales, hops are not dominant, but they do provide more than trivial bitterness in the finish.

Tap at the Pumpstation. Pours a medium golden with a light haze and decent white head- lasting. Aroma is light biscuit, toast, pils malt, crackers, light spicy peppery phenolics mixed with good herbal hops. Flavor is solid malts, doughy bready with cracker and cereal tones then grass, phenols, pepper, and ends with a soft finish- low bitterness. Actually pretty good, for a subtle beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Dark golden coloured body, and no head. Spicy, but not so drinkable. Certainly inferior to their Belgian strong.

Very solid, well-balanced beer. Low bitterness, several notes of spices and fruity sweetness - very complex. Low bitterness, medium body. It’s a really good beer.

Nutmeg, corrainder, starfruit, anise, bitter almonds, blood orange, cilantro. Really excellent rendition, complex, subtle, flavorful, melds well, bright orange, intriguing mellow spicy nose, quite fun to drink, low carbonation, medium body. Well done.
