COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true Bavarian-style wheat beer, brewed using a unique yeast strain that produces the flavors of cloves and bananas. Our interpretation is malty with a creamy body.

The beer has a decent appearance with a nice hazy orange color to it that passes very little light through the glass, has a nice white half finger head and little lacing left on the glass. The smell is decent with an obvious banana and clove up front with a lemony zest and mild wheat finish. The taste is decent with a nice blend of orange/banana/lemon/clove and a hint of corriander on the back end. The mouthfeel is great as the beer is well carbonated and leaves a lingering mld bitterness around. Overall, I can see why this beer has won some medals and is enjoyable for everyone.

Spicy banana aroma. Lightly cloudy yellow. Wheaty, sweet spiced flavor. Smooth body yet crisp biting finish. Good, balanced hefe.

Draft. Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. Citric and yeasty, light banana, with little bit more than normal acidity. Not bad.

Growler filled at the brewpub and consumed the same day. Pours cloudy brown mustard color with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first two sips and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of banana along with a bit of bubble gum. The flavor is wheat grain with a bit of mild banana. Mild bitterness at the finish. Light-medium bodied. Solid hefe.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy, murky orange pour, with aromas of banana, clove, and yeast upfront, and maybe some orangepeel as well. The flavor is banana, orange, some bitter yeast, and mild lye. Alright. [675]

On tap at the brewpub. Poured hazy gold with a hint of an orange hue and a white head that dissipated slowly but completely. Aroma had a nice citrus note with a bit of clove and sweet fruits and sweet wheat. Flavor starts with citrus with some backing banana, clove and wheat.

Pours a pale brown/orange color with a tiny white head. Taste is a little wheat, banana sweetness, some citrus. Lots of carbonation, but otherwise easy to drink - light body, no bitterness. It’s very sessionable, but not my favorite hefe.

On tap at the Spotty Dog in Hudson. Pours a murky looking brown with a thin white head. Slightly old banana, sweet, yeasty, clove, slight vegetal aromas. Medium bodied, vegetal cabbage, caramel. Finishes with a light bit of metal, more old wheat. A bit tough to drink.

Rather on the darker side for a hefe. Grain aroma, rather like hominy. Very light banana, not much in the way of spices. Flavor is fairly light, with hints of baking spices but it has a nice rich mouthfeel. Quite good.
