Cloudy with little head. Had plenty of carbonation. Banana/clove nose. Nice and malty. No real flaws. Probably the best of the brews @ the pub.

Growler filled at the brewpub and consumed the same day. Pours cloudy brown mustard color with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first two sips and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of banana along with a bit of bubble gum. The flavor is wheat grain with a bit of mild banana. Mild bitterness at the finish. Light-medium bodied. Solid hefe.

Pours a pale brown/orange color with a tiny white head. Taste is a little wheat, banana sweetness, some citrus. Lots of carbonation, but otherwise easy to drink - light body, no bitterness. It’s very sessionable, but not my favorite hefe.

On tap at the Spotty Dog in Hudson. Pours a murky looking brown with a thin white head. Slightly old banana, sweet, yeasty, clove, slight vegetal aromas. Medium bodied, vegetal cabbage, caramel. Finishes with a light bit of metal, more old wheat. A bit tough to drink.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 RCL (2026) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 14, 2009
Rather on the darker side for a hefe. Grain aroma, rather like hominy. Very light banana, not much in the way of spices. Flavor is fairly light, with hints of baking spices but it has a nice rich mouthfeel. Quite good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Rastacouere (5921) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 28, 2007
Rather lacy white head tops the fully cloudy, pale gold pour. Quite aromatic, straight-on bananas paired with lactic qualities reminiscent of fresh cream. Again fairly grainy, even the wheat feels so. No hops are noticeable, while the wheat does not refresh as much as expected. Still, its cookie-like sweetish palate is fun enough to accelerate drinking speed. Medium to full bodied, gentle effervescence. One of their best beers I believe.

Evans [Bavarian Style] Hefeweizen-on tap-pours a thin creamy white head and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is wheat, musty, banana-yeast, fruity, mild clove. Taste is clove, wheat, musty, banana-yeast, fruity. The clove isn’t overpowering, which is good. OK effervescence.
