On tap at the Spotty Dog in Hudson, NY. Cloudy orange color with almost no discernable aroma. Fizzy mouthfeel, smooth, yet not much flavor. Nice bite on the tongue that swings in the aftertaste.

A - Deep amber-orange color. about a finger of nice white head with okay retention. A little bit of lacing. S - A very light mix of spiciness, sweetness, and malt smell. Not very powerful. T - At first a bit sweet, followed by some nice toasted maltiness, with just a touch of hops to blend the taste nicely. A touch of bitterness in the aftertaste, but very well balanced. M - Medium carbonation, and medium bodied. The right balance of the two, which created a very smooth beer. D - The flavors were very well balanced but still a bit complex, but the beer still stayed smooth and even a bit crisp. Very drinkable beer overall.

beerbill (2938) - Laurel, New York, USA - OCT 17, 2010
Growler filled at the brewpub and consumed the same day. Pours a mostly clear amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first two sips and left partial lace. Mild aroma of malt and really not much else. The flavor presents much more than the aroma suggests. There is a solid malt base that is complimented nicely with an underlying fruitiness and some mild spice. Mild bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. An enjoyable oktoberfestbier.

Rastacouere (5921) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 28, 2007
Clear light copper beer that displays a rather strong effervescence, yet remains headless. Toasty palate deploys solid extraction, but again, the flavour profile remains grain-oriented. A small grapey, herbal and woody finish is pleasant enough, but finishes just too swiftly. Medium carbonation, light bodied.
