On tap at The Albany Pump House. A nice orange/gold/amber color with 1 finger of head. It smells of floral and citrus, exactly as expected. There is a nice mix of caramel and citrus hops, a good chorus of sweet and bitter. It’s thin and a bit on the higher carbonated side, which I think makes for an easily drinkable beer when combined with solid flavors.

On tap at Pump House - light orange. Very grainy aroma. Don’t smell much in the way of hops. Taste is grainy, too. Not a bad beer, but certainly nothing special.

Pint draught at the brewpub. Pours a hazy antique gold with a thin-moderate off-white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of fresh orange zest and mild malt. The flavor is malt followed by some orange fruit and pith. Moderate bitterness at the finish. Solid.

A - Pours a clear golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head. The head faded down to a thin ring leaving behind some lacing in the process.
S - The aroma is full of citrus hop and sweet malt. There is lots of grapefruit and lemon aromas coming off the beer,
T - Starts off with some nice sweet caramel malt and some citrus hop flavor and bitterness. Through the middle stronger bitterness as well as some spices and lemon flavors come through. The finish is a mix of caramel flavor and grapefruit hops and bitterness that linger nicely.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels very smooth and crisp. The finish is a nice mix of some slightly sweet flavors and some bitterness.
D - Very drinkable. The hop and malt balance is really nice with a good level of bitterness. The hop profile is really nice.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Boliv (1045) - New York, USA - APR 23, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear, orange and amber-colored, with a small off-white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, and some sugar/dough. Pine and dough flavor, somewhat bitter at first, but then trending toward a sweet graham cracker and buttery finish. A little thin, but drinkable. Not bad. [678]

Copper coloured pour with a rocky white head. The nose is great. Bright pine and light orange peel/grapefruit citrus. Soft crackery pale malt with a kiss of light crystal as well. Sweetness is restrained. A fairly pronounced herbal hop flavour on the back as well. Great balance although again, as the beer starts to warm up, the diacetyl is here as well. Nothing really kills a beer for me like this so although there are all of the components of a good pale ale in here, I just can’t enjoy it. A little bit of tropical fruit as well.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Sammy (6120) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2010
On draft at the brewpub. Amarillo hop used, and there is orange in the aroma and in the taste. Some grapefruit colour with a lacey head, sides of lace. Creamy above average mouthfeel, though the carbonation is right there. Hoppy bitter. A popular beer here, tasty but not overwhelmed by it.
