Dec 10, 2007 Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a hazy browned yellow color with a white head. Fairly citrus hop aroma. Grapefruit citrus flavor. Some malt underneath. Moderate to full bitter finish. Light to medium body.

Nov 15, 2007 On tap at the Spotty Dog in Hudson, NY. Lingery head with a clear yellow color. Big hoppy aroma. Full, foamy mouthfeel with a nice mellow, but big hoppy taste.

Oct 28, 2007 Clear straight light golden pour over which thrones a light white cover. Quite effervescent even after a long while. Generously aromatic with simcoe’s typical catty and needle smells. Floral, citrusy and very bitter to boot. Really dry all along with a juiciness from the hops. Kinda timid in maltiness though, barely a cerealic hint. Thin palate, but tight and cohesive carbonation. A more than honest pale ale.

Jul 13, 2007 A honey/amber body under a creamy & holding head. Heavy PNW aroma, similar to Evans’ Kick Ass Brown with Simcoe & Cascades giving a piney, grapefruity presence above mild tea bitters. Sharp, dry, peppery hops dominate the flavor, brought down to earth ever-so-slightly by subdued Vienna malt sweetness. Lemons late. Dry finish. Solid APA. IPA quality.
