mkobes (2045), paramus, New Jersey, USA Sep 29, 2003 This was a great beer. Very hoppy, nice clean aroma. Dark golden color. Very pleasant beer. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA Sep 29, 2003 Hops, everywhere. Hoppy, clean aroma. Hops dominant over malt, but pleasantly so. Dark golden color with nice white, lacy head. Pleasant beer overall. frankenkitty (1831), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jul 13, 2007 A honey/amber body under a creamy & holding head. Heavy PNW aroma, similar to Evans’ Kick Ass Brown with Simcoe & Cascades giving a piney, grapefruity presence above mild tea bitters. Sharp, dry, peppery hops dominate the flavor, brought down to earth ever-so-slightly by subdued Vienna malt sweetness. Lemons late. Dry finish. Solid APA. IPA quality.

I couldn't tell any colors due to the darkness of the Country Inn in Krumville. Anyway, it was very malty up fromt with a hoppy finish. A very enjoyable session beer. DYCSoccer17 (2046), Davis, California, USA Jun 15, 2006 4 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub. Very hoppy aroma with grapefruit, piney aromas with some mild hempy notes as well. I also detect some sweetness in the nose. This is very aromatic and pleasant. Mildly hazy golden/copper color with a small off-white head. Hempy, grapefruity start with cereal graininess in the middle with some mild toastiness later. Some more juicy hops are present in the end. Very nice.
