Looks to style, nothing spectacular. Citrus, light bitterness, some maltiness. Had a very strange aftertaste, but not an unpleasant one. My companion enjoyed it, but I’d take other beers from their lineup before this one.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, with caramel and raisin, and the flavor follows suit, with some sweet malt, grass, and raisin. Thin, but easy-drinking. [673]

Very pale straw colour with a tight white head. Very low aroma with a faint kiss of lemon peel. A little bit of herbal/citrusy hop aroma but it’s pretty faint. I guess this is their light ale for lager-lovers.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Sammy (6120) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2010
Draft at the brewpub. Another kolsch that does not make the grade. Undrinkable, despite use of amarillo and magnum hops. Pale yellow. Passable aroma. Watery, lagerish, off bitterness. More of a mild bitter.

On tap at the Pump Station. Pours a clear very pale yellow with a medium sized white head. Lightly fruity, a bit of wheat. Medium bodied, rather sweet. Finishes up with some more wheat and a touch of grainy bitterness. Drinkable, which is more than I can say for most brewpub’s weak blondes.

20070428 Tap at TAPNY. Was especially looking forward to a nice kolsch, but this was a letdown. Looks right in color but rather flat. Mild white bread and grain bag aromas. Grainy but mostly bland flavor except for a punch of diacetyl. Miss.
