ClarkVV (3547), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Apr 11, 2005 On draught 4/9/2005 at the brewpub. Yet another beer with no head and very low carbonation. I liked that all of their beers had very low carbonation, but this one took it a bit too far and just seemed flat, lifeless and watery on the palate. A reddish-amber color, with orange highlights. Clear. Aroma is nearly non-existant, a little crystal malt, light caramel, slightly metallic. Flavor is sugary sweet, though the lack of a very large flavor profile keeps it from getting cloying. Not much variation on the caramel, with some very lightly toasted grains, barely perceptible. Very watery consistency, would not be able to blindly identify sesame as an ingredient in this. Medium-light to light body, watery, no carbonation, sticky, unpleasant sugary syrup flavor on the end.
