Cask at Wetherspoons Bewdley. Nice beer not too hoppy with delicate tastes, mildly fruity with a biscuitty aftertaste. A nice session beer

Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 11 April 2013. Poured a slightly hazy, dark golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, straw and bready malt. Malt forward flavour, some biscuit and candy sugar with pine hops. Finish was light, some residual grass and toasted malt.

Cask at the Lawrence Sheriff (Llloyds), Rugby, 03/04/13. Clear golden with a thin white head that clears to the edge and leaves a film. Nose is malt, cereals, grain, biscuit, toffee, light root beer notes. Taste comprises toffee, malt, sugars, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with a little bitterness. Ok whelming fayre - assume the classic 6-3-6-3-12 !!!

Rune (7355) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 14, 2013
Festival cask ale, one-third pint on a sample tray at J DW The Welkin. Beige thin head. Clear golden-brown body. Laces well. Pale malts and floral hops to the nose. Taste of herbal hops on a grainy backbone to the taste buds. Fruit bitter tail. Fined bodied. Foamy in the mouth and a bit floury. Satisfying with the breakfast (Liverpool, 08.04.2013).

Hamilton Hall Spoons. Clear gold beer, little white head. Palate is smooth with mild fine carbonation. Semi sweet pale malt. Nice sweetish orange hops with a strong floral note in the semi dry finish. Light, tasty and very drinkable. Good one!

1/3rd at The Tilley Stone Gateshead. My least favourite of the three glasses for the price of a pint offer at ’Spoons. Dark gold with a rapidly disappearing white head. Set honey aroma with a sweet, slightly medicinal flavour. Sticky texture. Didn’t get any citrus. Soft and flat, glad when it was gone.
