Dec 27, 2003 Updated: Apr 3, 2004Keg at the Queen Victoria, Syston, Leicester. Very good Mild, my favourite so far. Creamy and slightly more opaque than my previous experiences with the style. Soft and smooth on the front of the palate, with a small burst of roasted malt to finish. Punctuated throughout with tasty chocolate notes. A very good session beer, so much so that I spent my whole Christmas Eve supping it - high praise indeed!

Mar 28, 2002 A good example of a typical English mild ale. In my opinion, this is still Everards best drink, whilst not being anything special.
