Originally a Summer seasonal.

Sunchaser blonde is a thirst-quenching beer made in the style of a continental lager. Hence you will find subtle fruit flavours and a little sweetness within.
Developed as a thirst quenching beer, perfect for those warm summer evenings. Overtones of a delicate spice and peppery nature, complementing the main palate features of rounded sweetness, with hints of peach and lychees.

Ingredients: Lager malt; Hallertau hops - dry hopped with Saaz hops.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] An orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is light, what is there is sweet hoppy. The flavor is of diacethyl and oranges. A boring beer.

Cask@King’s Head, Bayswater, London. Golden color, not much head. Flowery hoppy nose (trefoil). Very flowery flavor too. Bitter aftertaste. Nothing special but refreshing enough for a hot summer day.

Cask (Tram Depot, Cambridge) as "Tram Light" at 4.0%
Tons of honey in aroma. However, quite weak and watery. Very pale, almost no head. Soft palate, but watery. Pear drops in the retronasals too, according to Anna, it’s closer to apple for me. 3.0 seems like an under-rate, as it’s a perfectly drinkable bitter.
Earlier Rating: 8/20/2007 Total Score: 3.2
Draught (Tram Depot, Cambridge) Very light. Thin head. Sweet malt, then black tea, them more malt aroma. Maybe some liver stuffing and gravy. Very sweet malty taste, but just a little watery. Caramel malt finish - tasty session, I guess.
