Feb 7, 2005 Cask at Globe, Lecester, RB crawl 2005. Has a whiff of sweet perfume to it, a sharpness too that seemed out of place, an OK bitter.

Jan 29, 2005 A suped up version of Tiger. Not really gold in colour - more a deepish amber/mid copper colour. I too picked up the apples in the aroma, and there was something a little green about the malt. Otherwise, quite markedly, perhaps a little sharp, but not much else. I’m not sure this adds much to the standard Tiger. Cask (handpump), Globe, Leicester.

Jan 26, 2005 Hand pulled at the Globe, Leicester (RB crawl). I supped this beer and liked it.. but as I turned round to hear validatory views from my fellow crawlers, all I got instead were dissenting voices - I was the sole advocate. Very good smoothly insistent bitter, heavy with faint malt (?). Dry hopped and quaffable, with some orange notes. Capital ’B’ Bitter, and very good for people who like Everards Tiger.

Jan 23, 2005 Cask conditioned - handpump - The Globe Leicester (RB Leicester Crawl). A mid brown coloured bitter with a crisp green apple aroma. The taste is also very apply and bitter. Is it really supposed to have so many apple notes?
