2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 wheresthepath (1087) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 25, 2011
[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] Gold, small white head. A little bit of peach, with a crisp but slight bitterness following. This could be quite nice if it was souped up a bit, but at the moment it’s all very thin, watery and restrained. Shame.

Hand pulled cask at several JDW pubs during 2011 Autumn Beer Festival. Pale gold with a white head. Bitter hops with some citrus flavours but overall rather astringent. and masking the malt character. Refreshing.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 AshtonMcCobb (937) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 17, 2011
On tap at Corn Exchange in Arbroath. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a decent head which hangs around. The nose has some notes of pine and grapefruit pith. There’s more of the same on the taste against a pale malt background. The palate is light to medium in body with a medium tangy texture and a good clean finish. Overall, a good ale!

Cask @ Inverness JDW
Straw, frothy white head, good lacing.
Aroma - very faint aroma of citrus hops and malt.
Taste - citrus lemon hop...bit of grape...light flavour...cereal malts...a bit buttery
Palate is thin, bit watery..soft carb....finish light citrus and bitter with a hint of weetabix coming though...bit of lingering sourness
Bland showcase for the Nelson Sauvin hop...just an OK average golden ale
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 imdownthepub (7491) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2011
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Compared to another beer with New Zealand hops, this paled into insignificance. Caramel, dry and a little flowery, very little of the hop characteristics showing through. Dull.
