2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 cbeers21 (693) - Miami, Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2008
After being in Nepal (see: beer wasteland) for 4 months, this ended up being my "go to" brew. I guess when you dont have any access to any "real & tasty" beers, you really learn to appreciate what is beautiful about whatever crappy beer you can get your hands on. I guess I grew a particular affinity for this beer and can’t rate it objectively. I suppose that if this was the only beer that I would drink for the rest of my life, I guess my life wouldnt be so bad. While crappy in rating, this beer has a surprising and resiliant quality which will always make me smile, and everest always tastes good on a late afternoon in the Nepal countryside.

Bottled. A light yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and grass, while the flavor is sweet malty with a tinge of acidity, brewing cereal? Thanks Myrup.

Bottle. Pours very pale yellow. No head to speak of. Not mudh taste anyway :o) Slight hay-like aroma. Flavour is also based on a peppery hay-like ’quality’. Not very nice.
