COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"EVEREST" premium lager is brewed with a "STATE-OF-THE-ART" technology using selected malt, adjuncts, hops, aroma hop, brewing water and pure yeast culture and finely blended to a unique flavour. A perfect connoisseur’s choice!

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2010 Found in a local Kathmandu supermarket. Foamy head, bright yellow, smells of cardboard and old socks. Tastes like lemon water and has a slightly dry finish. Completely uninteresting; try the 50th anniversary brew for something slightly better, but still nothing too great. Note that Everest is also available on draught at a select few places in Kathmandu for an offensively priced $8 a glass!

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2012 Super pale yellow, lots of carbonation. Grassy, refreshing, lacking flawed yeast character I get in some lights, neutral light hop bitterness, no hop flavor. The best thing in the world when you’re over 5000 meters though. Look for the Coblenzer pilsner or marzen if you want one of the two good beers in Nepal.

Very light beer, but overall as good a beer as I would expect to find in nepal, if you are heading to nepal I recommend you drink this one.

Questionable thanks to Beerbiker for bringing this prime home with him. Extremly pale, even for a pale lager, small white head. Remarkable scentleess and even the flavor doesnt bring anything except a minor bitterness. Amazingly the alchohol isnt tasted either. Only good thing to say is that the weakness of this beer atleast makes it a drinkable source of liquid, so i’d might even pay for this one day if nothing else is avalible and im really really thirsty

Can, 33cl. Pours a clear, pale yellow beer with a weak white head. The aroma is malt and DMS. The flavor is malt, sweetness and some DMS. The palate is weak and the overall impression is weak.
