On tap at C-Bar, Portland. Nice golden body with large head. Nose is hoppy, also sweet and honey. Taste is lots of hops, citrus, some honey and spices. Pretty good.

Draft at pipers creek. Pours a clear dark gold with a loose creamy white film on top. Lots of sheeting lace. Big floral piney nose, a little overly sweet. Lots of sugary malt sweetness as well. Creamy medium body, a little slick, lively carb. Caramel, heavy malt sugariness, floral sticky piney notes on the mid palate. Long cloying finish.

Fairly decent IPA mostly herbal earthy notes, malt body balances fairly well with caramel notes, though mostly hoppy.

On tap at Saraveza’s IIPA Fest, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a big white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, some honey and piney hops. Flavour of bitter grapefruit peel, honey, piney and resinous hops - slightly metallic and bitter. Very stringent, not so well-balanced. Could be better refined. Not so good.

Tap @ Fifteenth Ave. Hophouse... Poured hazy, golden/amber with a thin, grayish-white head. Clean, and easy drinking, but otherwise unmemorable. Mellow bitterness, noticeable malt balance. Leafy, earthy, pepper-spiced hop flavors. Could of benefited from more floral characters. Too bad this beer wasn’t as good as the book. ;)

draft. hazy cloudy unfiltered looking. solid iipa but far from my favorite. 90 ibu seems high for this one. lacks the bitterness punch.

Dark amber in color, hazy with a thin head. Big hops forward floral aroma and flavor. Nice biscuit malt backing and flavor. Not over all super bitter in the finish which I like. Great beer.

Hazy unfiltered honey colored. Resinously hoppy with biscuit and sulfur. Both linger into the finish. $5/20oz ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Bier Stein. Light orange pour, thick white head. Smells floral and citrusy with a light bit of caramel. Taste much the same with a little bit of heat thrown in. Pretty decent beer that I would drink again.
