Cask at GBBF 2011. Amber color. Aroma and taste of caramel, malt husk, nuts, toffee and strawberry marmelade. Medium bitterness with some peppery hops. Nice fresh malt character. Pleasant but fairly mellow taste, could have more hop punch.

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2011. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with bitter hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

GBBF. Clear amber beer with a tiny head. Dry palate. Mild toffee malt with a very light touch of hop. It’s ok.

On gravicask at USA Cask Ale Bar, GBBF ’11, third-pint. Good looking with its clear, golden-brown body. Bright naked surface. Sweet malts mixed with dried fruits to the nose. Bready malts and mild, dried fruity taste. Smooth spiced bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pleasant (London, 02.08.2011).

Tea and malt aroma. Dry, not biscuity malts. Iced tea in the taste too. Old and slightly nutty finish. Darkish orange. Not quite an ESB, but hinting in that general direction.

Clear medium to dark orange amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, nutty, caramel, keller. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, keller, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110802]

Cask @ GBBF 2011. Pours clear amber with a small white head and lacings. Bitter and dry. Bit of hops, rubber and dark malts. Smooth.

Cask@GBBF2011. Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, wood, fruits, some grass as well. Flavour is wood, some earth, mild nutty notes as well as some floral and grassy hops. Pleasant balance and nice ESB.
