Cask at GBBF 2011. Amber color. Aroma and taste of caramel, malt husk, nuts, toffee and strawberry marmelade. Medium bitterness with some peppery hops. Nice fresh malt character. Pleasant but fairly mellow taste, could have more hop punch.

On gravicask at USA Cask Ale Bar, GBBF ’11, third-pint. Good looking with its clear, golden-brown body. Bright naked surface. Sweet malts mixed with dried fruits to the nose. Bready malts and mild, dried fruity taste. Smooth spiced bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pleasant (London, 02.08.2011).

Clear medium to dark orange amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, nutty, caramel, keller. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, keller, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110802]
