One of the better browns out there. Dark brown with medium white head, Balanced aroma. Medium body. Not too sweet, a common failing with browns

Pours a hazy medium brown color. Strong malty taste. Not much sweetness here but a little pinch of bitter really helps.

Draft at Porterhouse. Pours a murky dark brown with a dense and creamy, if short-lived, tan head. Nice big roasty toasty brown bread nose, showing a tiny bit of molasses and some nice fresh-cut wood. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, brown bread, dark pine resin, and a bit of molasses on the mid-palate. Mild roasty finish. Very nice brown. Glad this style is being revived with some real attention paid to flavor and detail.
