COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Little Sister ISA is grassy and dry, as expected given the lighter malt bill. It does deliver a flowery aroma and bitter bite.

Draft at sb. Pours a slightly hazy burnished medium amber. Loose sudsy white head. Nose of cigarettes, like stale tobacco in a pack that got broken open and scattered. Mid palate tastes the same way. Medium body, lively carb, dry finish.

Has a cloudy tan, fruity nose, earthy and soft, maybe not as fresh as I’d like. Disappointing, thin and sweetish.

12oz can. Clear light amber color with white head. Dry cracker, light fruit, mild herbal aromas. Medium body with average co2. Dusty bready pale malt base brew with medium to lightly bitter herbal, spicy hoppage---clean bitter dry finish----not sweet----tasty summer slammer.

On tap at the Pine Box. Clear pale yellow pour with a white head. Faint grapefruit hop bouquet. Light with an apart Pilsner like quality. Some hop bitterness, but no real solid flavor. Light in body with an average mouthfeel.

Draught. Pours a mostly clear dark golden color with a moderate white head on there. Nose is nicely hoppy with some appealing citrusy grapefruit elements to it. Taste is very light and easy to drink, and only slightly bitter. I’d happily drink this all day.

Can, cost 1.50$. So good deal. From ABV. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light fruity nose. The flavor is dull hops, medium grainy malts, a bit of lemon. OK. Very light, nothing wrong here.

Tap. Pours a clear yellow gold body with a small wispy white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is lightly hoppy with some crackery and bready malt and a light Cheerio like cereal grain note. The flavor is just lightly bitter, the cereal grains dominate over the hops, and that ain’t so good in my book. Overall, it’s just a little too muddled and lacking in brightness from the hops. Mouthfeel is light bodied with some light lingering bitterness and fizzy carbonation. Not the best IPA, they need to amp up the hops a bit on this one.

I had this on tap at the brewery about a year ago before they were canning and it was delicious. When I found out they were going to package Little Sis I was pretty excited to get my hands on what was a clean hoppy session ale. Unfortunately the beer is just not drinking the same out of the can. It’s cloudy, thin bodied, dull, and not as refreshing as I remembered.

Can:   Somewhat of a dull example, hoppy but not bright.   Fairly smooth, decent body, but not all that flavorful.   Some pith and peel, but its moderate.   Says India Style Session Ale, so maybe that’s why.   Needs more hops, needs to be brighter.   A bit dull otherwise.

Can. Citrus, light pine and a touch of caramel. Light bitterness. I know it is a session ale but the body on this brew is way to light. Finish is bitter with an odd aftertaste that quickly fades away.
