Sampled at the SpringBeerFest in Portland. Deep toffee amber, aroma is very hoppy and sweet. Palate delivers a surprising load of hops-- lots of pine and some grapefruit, but with an interesting edge. Dusty wood? Not sure, but quite interesting. soundly bitter finish. I’m not sure how true to style this is (more like an IPA in my mind), but it was very tasty.

Nose is floral, citrus, dank - full of hops. Bright golden amber pour, frothy bubbly head. Light body, tons of hops, pine and dank are strong. Light sweetness in the malt base, but this is predominantly hoppy. Very solid and enjoyable to me. Super drinkable.

Growler from riversideak. Toffee golden, clear with a tight small white head. Lightly peppered cracker wheat, touch of floral, a touch of grassy bitterness that has touches of dank. Lots of peppery and grassy hops with light cracker malt. Pretty bitter for a common.

on tap at claudia’s bar in portland. decent brew but not sure it feels like a common. More like a NWPA.

Draught at Horse Brass. Poured orange with thick white head. Much lacing. Aroma of citrus and malt. Citrus notes in the flavour, with malt to keep it from getting too bitter. Something of a malty finish, with more hop bitterishness.
