Bottle at 5K/10K/4K tasting. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose and taste of apple, musk and lightly tart apple. Dryish finish. Medium body.

Bottle at James’s 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head that deflates almost immediately. Soft musk and a bit of apple, dries out a touch on the nose. Medium bodied, dry with a touch of musk, tart apple. Tasty.

Bottle from the Union Square Green Market. A new seasonal blend of early crops to take the place of some styles with low availability during the end of the year. The labels were bleeding like crazy, & I couldn’t get an official description up. Sorry.

Poured into a stiff plastic cup. Ever so slightly hazed, active, pale cream soda color.
Smell is bittersweet perry, wood, & batteries.
Tastes of bittersweet peel, lime zest, & green apple-like flesh. Touch of wood. Not completely dry, but close enough. Super easy.
Not quite thin. Bit of leftover yeast. Moderately carbed. Nicely tart. Low acid. Surprisingly subtle alcohol.

Difficult to drop $15 on something so easy to drink.
