Honestly couldn’t spot much difference between this and the regular Evil Eye. Maybe will try again later. But anyways, there’s not much to this. The brewers succeeded at making a 10%(??) malt liquor that doesn’t make me wretch at the smell. I can actually finish a can of this.

May 10, 2008 24oz can, black with blue print. Pours clear light golden color. Light pale aroma. Not as much aroma as the Original Ojo Malo. Finishes much more dry as well. I think Icing this Malt Liquor has taken away some of the stellar character.

Mar 25, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, golden body with no head to speak of.
Smell: Suspiciously mild aroma (for a malt liquor) comprised of equal parts corn and apple-scented hand sanitizer.
Taste: Creamed corn and yellow apples with an undeniably odd sweetness. Fake flowers, and pureed apple cores midway. No hop bitterness. Mildly fusel finish that leaves you belching fumes.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: As per usual, it’s a crime against humanity.

Mar 24, 2008 A pale yellow color. The aroma is lemons and yellow apples. A sugary presence exists in this beer. The flavor contains some lemons and hay. This reminds me of a blonde ale. If it were labeled as such the ratings would be higher. City makes some drinkable malt liquors IMO. Thans to unclemattie for yet again hooking me up with the four Os.

Mar 22, 2008 Pours a clear pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma is honey, corn, and some spicy hops. Flavor is malty, corn, and a slightly bitter finish.
