Pours hazy burnt orange with minimal white head. Aroma is grainy, earthy and citrus. Taste is sweet with very minimal bitters, a touch of tartness as well. Medium bodied with a slick texture, alcohol is well hidden. Seemed more like a straight pale ale then a Belgian IPA.

FROTHINGSLOSH (3977) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky dark apricot color with an enormous fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was tart, sour and tangy with moderate tropical fruits and lemon. The flavor was dryish with notes of pepper, bread, tropical fruits and lemon. Medium length finish of bread and tropical fruit. Medium body. Solid.

Bottle from Canal’s. Pours a moderate dark copper color with a nice white head. Aroma is of odd fruits, some flower petals, light citrus, fruity yeasty notes. Taste is a mess, bread, flower petal, fruity yeast, honey, plastic, thin body.

Overall a nice Belgian IPA. Very smooth and easy to drink, with a nice flavor and kick to it.

12oz bottle-trade with jtclockwork-thin offwhite-hazy amber floaties in the 2nd 6oz pour. A-some malt, sour fruit. T-sour lemon, old med malt, yeasty but no clove or banana esters.

Bottle. Pours reddish amber with a white head. Nose and taste of Belgian yeast, lemongrass, citrus and dried orange peel. Light malt. Taste is slightly metallic, but drinkable. Body is the lighter side of medium. Finishes slightly dry floral/citrus peel.

Bottle. Poured a hazy cooper color, thin white head. Yeast, citrus and hops aroma; sweet with a bit of a sour note to it, and mild hoppiness. This is an okay beer.

The pour is murky copper with a white head that fades into lacing. The aroma is robust with citrus hops. The taste is that of a mild IPA. I don’t really get anything Belgian about this but it’s subtle and drinkable. That’s about the best compliment I can give this beer because it’s forgettable.

12oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of yeast, spices, rotten citrus rinds, and some fruitiness. Tastes of citrus, yeast, and some fruitiness. Had a lighter sour finish.

Draft offering..yellowish color.good head retention..aroma is non existent which was a sign this offering of the style wasnt going to go well..lacing on glass happened to be very good and the best thing about this..mouthfeel has almost nothing there..quite thin..if this is a belgian style ipa this is way off base..not getting anything good that one usually gets from a belgian or an ipa..steer cleer of this one...
