THOUGHTS: Pungent at first, then weak. A little more earthy than what I’d expect for a West Coast IPA. Nice with great balance, but nothing unique. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light to medium, orangey amber with an average, slightly off-white head that mostly diminished lasted and left excellent lacing. The aroma had light caramel; heavy pine, spruce, minty and earthy hops; and moderate grapefruit and orange hops. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and mod bitter; while the finish was slightly sweet and sour, moderately bitter and lightly acidic with an average duration. There was citrus, pin, spruce, citrus rind, and earthy hops, pale malt and caramel. The light to medium body was a little oily and then dry with very fizzy carbonation and a lightly dry finish.

Meh. Nothing special here. If there is nothing else around it’s okay. Certainly not worth craft beer prices. Aroma is meh citrus...taste is meh citrus + malt... finish is meh...crush it and be done...the trash truck driver in our neighborhood loves honking his truck’s horn...

Pours a hazy gold. Has a citrus, hop, grain and pine aroma. A bit grainer than expected with little citrus hops. A bitter malty aftertaste

On tap at Black Squirrel’s NKOTB event pours a clear orange with a ring of white head. Nose has orange, soap, heavy grass, heavy pith. Flavor is harsh, overly pithy, a touch industrial, a faux sweetness too. Astringent finish. This needs work.

Clear, golden color. An off white head that remains. Complex, sweet scent. Some grapefruit hops but not too overwhelming. Some sweetness.

On tap at Bainridge. Pours brownish gold with small to medium white head . Aromas are rye, pine, ash, light copper. Flavor is dry and bitter with a good bit of carbonation to it. Nothing special about this offering but it’s not as bad as the ticks imo. Drank this with some bubblegum and blueberry Martian juice and wasn’t too terrible...just bad. Cheers

Mediocre brew with a lot a room to grow. This one is a simple standard brew with nothing that I can comment that sets it apart for its competition. A re-work of the recipe is needed to give this one some new life!

Tap at Taphouse Grille. Orange to slightly amber pour with a small soapy white head. Little bit of stale malt, cardboard, but some citrus as well.

Slightly amber hued golden pour with marginal head and some lacing. Grass/earthy notes with faint citrus in the nose and flavor, has a soapiness to it. Easy drinking, but nothing spectacular.

Not a particularly good pale ale I picked up in Asheville in 2015. Stale aroma, mild and forgettable. Citrus aroma dissipates quickly.
