COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pineapple Hefeweizen. Brewed with pale, munich, and wheat malt, and hopped with Tettnang and Hallertau, we take the very traditional Hefeweizen and up it a notch with Pineapple! At 5.5% ABV, this will refresh your pallet during the hot summer weather.

Poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma was yeasty and citrusy, pineapple very light. Flavor similar, not sure if I would have picked the pineapple without the description.

On tap at Black Squirrel’s NKOTB event, pours a murky gold with some fluffy white head. Lots of pineapple on the nose, some starfruit, estery, mild yeast, a little clove, banana. Flavor has a big juicy note that most hefs lack, pineapple, some asian pear, a little tangerine, mild grist, floral, yeast. Enveloping finish. Good idea.

In tap at Pittsburgh beer fest. Pours a cloudy pale yellow. Aromas of banana and bubblegum and faint pineapple. Taste is more hefeweizen than pineapple which is good. Delivers to the description.

Draft against some dive bar off Dewey beach. Like the name. Ever heard of before knew nothing of style when ordered. Nose of light fruit and cloves. Tastes of cloves, banana, wheat, lemon, grainy, bubblegum. Slightly watery.

Bottle from Wegman’s mechanicsburg. Pours cloudy and yellow with a thin head. Not much head but solid lacing. Not a lot on the nose. Some decent clove flavor with some trace pineapple. It’s decent but not exactly the most exuberant hefe I’ve ever had.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2015 Cloudy pour. Pale malt aroma with pineapple, wheat, sours, grass, floral and spices. Refreshes just ok but to clingy to be really enjoyed when it?s hot out.

(bottle - 12 oz) Cloudy gold with a fizzy head. Wheat and spice in the aroma with a mild hint of pineapple. Flavor is like you took a mild hefeweizen and replaced the orange wedge with a pineapple chunk.

There is a very light pineapple taste, not sugary or fake/syrupy. The color is a little too pale, but nice hazy look. The Belgium flavor is lacking, not enough malts. Tap and bottle

Bottle. Light gold with a thin white head. Aroma and taste are pineapple and bread with a candy-like sweetness in the taste. Not my thing.
