Pours dark brown/black with a medium tan head. aroma has nice roasty dark chocolate and just a hint of pumpkin. flavor follows suit...roasty and dark chocolatey...the pumpkin and spice come through subtley but pleasantly. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry and lingers with bold roastiness and dark chocolate.

Bottle from Shawan Liquors. Pours black with a thin khaki head that disappears very quickly. Faint hints of cocoa on the nose. Massive cocoa on the tongue. Itís like I took a spoonful of Nestlť Kwik and dumped it in my mouth. I canít say Iím getting much pumpkin here. Finishes clean. Itís all a bit gimmicky.

Draft at Khyber Pass. Black pour that showed up as a clear blood red under bright light. Large foamy beige head. Big complex chocolate flavors. Pumpkin flavor is subdued. Dark dry notes. Thin body. Feels like a Porter. Good subtle dark Pumpkin brew.

Dark cola colored beer with a thin beige head. Big chocolaty nose with some vanilla and some artificial chemical notes. This beer is more chocolate than any thing else. Smooth mouth feel with some spice but more artificial chocolate taste. Okay beer....

12oz bottle from Lacey Spirits. Pours a deep brown/almost black color with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma of toasted pumpkin seeds, roasted malt, caramel, and light spices. Mouthfeel is nice and silky. Taste of roasted malt, chocolate, some bitter pumpkin, and maybe some cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spices are very faint. Trick or Treat? I'm gonna say more of a trick then a treat.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured dark brown, with a off white head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts and cocoa very nice. Taste is quite consistent malty, some chocolate and a very slight hint of spices. Very decent porter however I somehow I feel like Iím missing the flavors that prompted me to buy this beer: Pumpkin and Spice (since thatís what it says on the label); not bad overall.

Bottle:   Deep brown, moderate frothy head, sandy, decent lacing.   Seems to be somewhat lacking in traditional pumpkin spices, but seems roastier with a bit of cocoa or bakers chocolate.   Definite cocoa on the tongue, a little tart too.   Pumpkin spices seem to be lacking here.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   The roasted malts and cocoa make for a decent brew, but its lacking the traditional spices of most Pumpkin Ales.
