Congratulations, you have just managed to get your hands on Russian Roulette - a rare kind of collaboration between Evil Twin Brewing (Denmark) and OMNIPOLLO (Sweden).

This beer would best be described as an IPA with a twist. A twist that will reveal itself first after you "bust some caps".

One thing remains sure however, if you like hops and the lush texture of a well crafted beer this will have you smiling as you face your destiny.

Good luck,
Jeppe (Evil Twin Brewing) and Henok (OMNIPOLLO)

Bottle. Pours black with a thick beige that sticks around. Nice aroma, pine, grapefruit and coffee. Taste has similar flavours but perhaps is less hoppy and the rich roasty malt comes through harder. Medium body with a long very bitter finish that I quite like, sticks around for ages. Very nice

Bottle. Pours black with tan brown head. Nose/taste of roasted chocolate malt, pine, chalky malt, resin, coffee roast and toasted black malt. Finishes chalky resin with toasted malt. Very dry resin. Medium body.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing to pancake surface. Dark chocolate, caramel and resin aromas. Dry and medium bodied with dark chocolate upfront turning to espresso before the lasting charred resin finish.

(50cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye best by 2014) clear very deep brown, fine tan bubbles. Nose of fudge, agave, milk chocolate, light citrus. Taste of bakers chocolate, semi-sweet, very herbal, quite bitter that’s almost balanced by the fudgey flavor.

No gushing, but pouring turns into a differed build-up of towering and then overflowing very lacy cream-tan head over virtually black beer. Intense dry hops, much ureum, and a backbone of sweetish caramel, intensified by the ureum - as some sticky fluid dried up. Very bitter, hopoils galore, but also a hint at molasses - just the hopoverload precludes any sweetness to be perceived. Dry straw, hopbailes. Spritzy, very slick to sticky, oily, well-bodied; Black hopbomb. Don’t go looking for subtleties.

500. Pours a cloudy dark, dark amber with a dense and wooly off-white head and spotty, drippy lace. Big fresh floral nose with light orange-blossom notes. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel and oranges on the mid palate. Crisp bright resiny finish.

Bottle at Schouskjelleren, april 2012. Black body, creamy brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, pine, milk chocolate and lemon peel, quite nice! Taste is very hoppy, peach, grass, flowers, with coffee, licorice and a good bitterness. Acidic and bitter finish with a subtle roasty touch.

Bottle. Pours black with a fluffy off white head. Citrus and coffee in aroma. Very bitter! Coffee bitterness and hop bitterness at the same time. Some orange. Quite boring.

Bottle at Bishops Folkungagatan. Pours black with a light beige head. Dosn´t taste very black at all, guessing the bright one tastes the same! Malty, bitter and lots of orange peel.
