Congratulations, you have just managed to get your hands on Russian Roulette - a rare kind of collaboration between Evil Twin Brewing (Denmark) and OMNIPOLLO (Sweden).

This beer would best be described as an IPA with a twist. A twist that will reveal itself first after you "bust some caps".

One thing remains sure however, if you like hops and the lush texture of a well crafted beer this will have you smiling as you face your destiny.

Good luck,
Jeppe (Evil Twin Brewing) and Henok (OMNIPOLLO)

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, chocolate, roasted malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of rosted malt, chocolate, hops, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of chrisv10. Pours an opaque deep dark coffeeish brown with an beige head. The nose has lovely citrusy aroma hops. Medium body, subtle roast, great juicy aroma hops. But as with the pale version this is simply too dry for me and appears unbalanced. I prefer my IPA’s with a little more residual sweetness - this is simply too dry. 020412

omhper (19233) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 20, 2012
Bottled at Linköping Beer Expo. Spun the wheel and got a sample that poured hazy dark brown. There’s a huge gooseberry and lychee aroma. Dryish with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Salty with licorice and grapefruit - lots of grapefruit. Some chocolate in a heavily salty, very bitter finish where ink comes close. Would have been fun to try the dark and the pale version side by side, but as it seems to be a sales gimmick to not reveal what beer you’re buying that seems difficult to do.

Opaque black beer, big pale tan-cream head. Airy crisp palate. Minerals. Smooth smooth dark malt. Semi sweet pine and a little candy fruits. Whisper of sherbet and a touch of Parma Violets sweets. Well buried is a trace of coffee. A little orange on the back end and a dash of lime. Finishes semi dry with a piney bitter linger. A complex and tasty black ipa.
