Strong aroma is quite hoppy and woody, and has a hint of sour orange. Pours a stout-like sable with a thick and persistent tan head. Satisfying flavor has roast malt, hoppy and woody notes with hints of cloves and sour citrus. Smooth, lively texture has good body and fizz, and leaves a hoppy, smoky finish. No risk here of a bad beer here!

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Nice fully lasting creamy tan head. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich hops, chocolate, roast malt and hops. Nice long bitter finish.

50cl bottle @ Beer Temple. Opaque, almost pitch black color with a slight dark red glare coming through when held into the light. Full sized, lightly creamy, light brown head that lasts for a long time. Smell roasted malts, hops, some coffee, a hint of mocha. Taste malts, roasted malts, slightly burned, bitterness, hops and lightly some fruits. Medium body, medium to full carbonation. Very nice beer!

Otroligt jämn, rund och välbalanserad öl med en kraftig beska som stundtals sticker till ordentligt. Slutsats: en bra jävla öl helt enkelt.

Bottled. Black coloured. Dense light brown head. ARoma of roast, herbs, flowers, vague pine, some sweetness and some grape. Flavour is quite grapy and flowery. Loads of roast, chocolate and coffee. medium to full bodied. roasted and lihgt herbal bitterness in the end. Well made beer.

Pours completely black with a wonderful, fat, creamy, beige cappucino head. Aroma has peach, roasted malts, light chocolate, hazelnuts. Medium carbonation, lovely creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is very lovely, very balanced even if very bitter as well. Roasted malts and some sweet chocolate in the centre. Piney, citrusy and pachy bitterness and hops. Very good!

Bottle @ FOneFan. very dark brown with medium light brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, hops, citrus and a little grapefruit. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, hops, little sweet, pine, little grapefruit and bitter.

Pours a deep brown/black colour with a frothy dark beige head. Citrus hopy aroma, with hints of licorice, roasty malt and some chocolate. Malty flvour with medium bitterness and notes og grapefruit or orange zest. Yet refreshing. full body, oily feel, soft carbonation and beautiful lingering long bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle at home. Black version. Pours an opaque black with a beige head. Bitter and dry. At first lots of hops aromas of spruce, plant sap and hints of resin. Later the hops aromas or joined by hints of toasted malts. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Long bitter finish with more hops and some roasted malts. Good stuff.
