Love pepper beers and Evil Twin makes a good one. Nice bitey notes on the aroma and a cracked pepper finish on the palate. Delightful.

650 ml bottle, Chalice shows a hazy cloudy gold with very little head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, light fruit and clove.

I really like the yeast profile here, clove, light grassy notes and a subtle pepper in the finish. The pepper compliments the yeast. Nice zesty mouthfeel. This beer isn’t about hops it’s about the yeast. Nice.

Bomber shared by Adrien. Pours orange beige with a few white bubbles. Aroma is molasses, wet cardboard, a hint of banana. Flavor matches the aroma, with pepper in the finish. Nice.

Backlog rating. Keg at CBC Clapham, Craft 100, London. It pours a hazy yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma is funky and herbal, with notes of brett, black pepper, vegetables, wood, ripe apricots. Taste is lightly tart with a bretty peachy sweet note and more peppercorn notes. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, interesting flavour profile although I’m not the biggest fan of peppers in beer

A nice unique take on a blond. Pours an ugly clear yellow with a white head. Smells of citrus, apple and pepper. Taste is more basic, with lots of pepper and maybe ginger, and a pilsner-like finish. Had in the bottle.

Bomber from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Cloudy light golden with a full, fluffy off-white head. Aroma: Bright and zesty citrus, Saison spiciness, light funk, tropical fruits, light bitter herbs, cereals, nice. Palate: Medium body, fairly relaxed carbonation. Flav.: Zesty citrus, Saison spice, bitter green herbs, a little more funky than the nose, boiled cereals, tropical fruits, quite nice; dry with gentle bitterness and a long, fruity, lightly spicy finish.

I like this Joey fella.

Light hazy golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, yeast, white pepper, brett. Light sweet, light bitter flavour, malts, yeast, light spicy, basically a Belgian tripel. Yeasty finish, spices.

650ml bottle from Whole Foods Bowery, New York @ Varjopikkujoulut

Pours orange with a thick white head. Aroma of funky yeast, bretta, fruits, spices and earthy notes. Taste is carbonated, fruity and earthy with some funky yeastiness, bretta and spices. Finish is spicy, crisp and carbonated with some bretta and yeasty notes. Okay, quite fizzy and spicy bretta blonde.

66 cl bottle @ tiong, no BBE found.
Aroma is fruity and spicy with strong apricot tones. Flavour has soapy & hayish tones, apricot and candid sugar. Too much CO2 and sweetness – and no pepper here.
