22oz bottle in a teku. Pours lightly hazy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some pale and caramel malts, light hints of Brett dryness, some dough, and hints of dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A rather boring beer to come out of a collaboration from two great brewers.

Bottle from CBX. Hazy yellow gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma of grated white peppercorns, lemons, herbal notes, and yeast funk. Citrus and pepper flavor with notes of smooth bready malts and herbs. Mild carbonation and silky palate. Pretty nice.

Bottle at home. Pour is slightly hazy golden with a fluffy white head and great lacing. Husky, doughy, peppery, light citrus, earthy and toasted crackers in the aroma. Taste is floral, herbs, white pepper, chalky, basil, grass, citrus, and bread. Light body with high carbonation. Not bad, but kind of a letdown considering the two breweries it came from.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a very slightly cloudy gold with white lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast, peppercorns, and mild brett. Tastes like it smells with less of a peppercorn presence and an average mouthfeel that’s on the dryer side. Okay, but I expected more coming from these two brewers.

Taster on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Half hazy golden color. Thin ring of white head. Couple ropes of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of slick. Good spicy light white peppercorn, a nice amount. Some begian yeast, and some wit-like character to it. Light bit of citrus. Moderate sweet taste, sort of zesty. Solid belgian blond ale.

On draught.
Pours a hazy yellow with a small head and some lacing on the glass.

The aroma is mild, yeasty, slightly metallic with a light fruitiness.

The flavor very much has a good pepper thing going on. Lightly spicy in the hot way with some good fruitiness & subtle dusty malt. It’s generally fairly dry and enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden peach with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains and light fruits with some funk and a bit of spice. Flavor has a good amount of sweet grains and spice with a bit of earthy funk coming through in the finish.
