Hazy golden pour with a white head. The aroma has some nice white pepper notes as well as some orange peel, biscuit malt and yeast. The flavor is a mix of orange peel, yeast, white pepper, coriander and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, pear, banana, bubblegum, peppercorn, coriander, clove, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, bread, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, banana, bubblegum, peppercorn, coriander, clove, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, bread, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of peppercorn/yeast spice on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, banana, bubblegum, peppercorn, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian blonde style. All around good complexity and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle @ Bruce’s. Procured at WW, Charlottesville. Slightly hazy gold pour with a small head. Peppered dry fallen tree. Some dung pile countryside accents. Mild citrus. The taste is super dry and light, zingy. Lemon and mandarin meets earthy yeast. Some pillowy green apple and marshmallow smoothie. Light body, soft carbonation. Tasty stuff.

22oz bottle. Thanks popery! Aroma has a light malt and grainy note that is slightly sweet. Moderate stone and tropical fruit notes balanced with moderate amounts of peppercorns. Light banana and red apple character. Faint citrus. Pours a very hazy, golden straw color with a small, thin, white head that quickly recedes to the edges where it sticks around. Medium light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness upfront with a medium amount of bready, grainy malt character. Medium strong white peppercorn character with medium stone fruit notes. Light tropical fruit, lighter banana and citrus. Medium light bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall an alright Brett but the peppercorn character is a bit strong for me in the flavor. As it warms there is a bit more maltiness to the beer which helps cut through the pepper, but the finish is still strong peppercorn.

(bottle - 22 oz) Hazy gold pour with a puffy white head. Very light aroma. Mainly Belgian yeast with some light sweetness. Flavor is dry and sour in the not so good way. You can taste the peppercorns but it’s a strange mixture of dry malts and pepper with some overly sweet Belgian yeast. No hint of Brett at all. Was expecting more.

Draught @ CASK Pub & Kitchen, 6 Charlwood Street, London, Greater London, England SW1V 2EE.

[ As Evil Twin / Sante Adairius Joey Pepper ].
Unclear - hazy medium yellow orange color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt - wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, peppery, candy - candy sweet yeast. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, pale malt, fruity, riped fruit, peppery hops - yeast (like yeast with peppercorn). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140415]
