Lightly hazed gold, white head. Really a good drinking beer. It starts with some hop bitterness, yeast, pepper and light bready malts. Finishes with a clean bitterness.

Figured this has had enough time in the bottle for the brett to sort itself out. Slightly cloudy straw gold with persistent ring. Nose of light lemon and mild brett funk and some yeast spice. Taste follows, with dry pepper presenting and a rustic quality to it.

22 oz bottle purchased at State Line. Pours a hazy translucent dark golden with oranges on the glass, and active carbonation. Half inch head settles to a thick glaze of white bubbles and moderate lacing. Aroma is orange peel, cloves, Belgian yeast must, and other delicious spiciness. Flavor is sublimely balanced Belgian golden: notes from aroma, with active carbonation and delicious finish. Fantastic.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2014 Cheers to my buddy Joey, a generous guy, kind soul, and beer enthusiast. I did a double take and a WTF when I first saw this beer. The beer is pale yellow, nearly clear, with just a slight haze. Effervescence rising rapidly from the depths of the snifter. Half inch of pure white head with soapy lacing in its wake. The aroma offers Saaz hops, coriander, Belgian yeast, lemons, lemongrass, hay. Lovely flavor. Mild citric tartness. Light fruity sweetness. Floral hops and a bouquet of grass, citrus, yeast, spice. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Lemon rind with a touch of grapefruit. Medium to full bodied and somewhat palate coating. Overall, solid. Complex and enjoyable. Nicely done. Cheers to Jeppe and Joey.

Hazy golden pour with a white head. The aroma has some nice white pepper notes as well as some orange peel, biscuit malt and yeast. The flavor is a mix of orange peel, yeast, white pepper, coriander and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, pear, banana, bubblegum, peppercorn, coriander, clove, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, bread, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, banana, bubblegum, peppercorn, coriander, clove, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, bread, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of peppercorn/yeast spice on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, banana, bubblegum, peppercorn, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian blonde style. All around good complexity and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle @ Bruce’s. Procured at WW, Charlottesville. Slightly hazy gold pour with a small head. Peppered dry fallen tree. Some dung pile countryside accents. Mild citrus. The taste is super dry and light, zingy. Lemon and mandarin meets earthy yeast. Some pillowy green apple and marshmallow smoothie. Light body, soft carbonation. Tasty stuff.
