COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When two gypsies team up with an arrogant bastard, there is bound to be some criminal activity...better to view this project as a conspiracy rather than a collaboration. The strengths of all involved were utilized to break the laws of style guidelines...dark with deception, mysteriously smoked, unexplainably dry, and intriguingly hoppy...maybe it’s best not to even talk about it.

pours very dark brown, pushes black, nice beige head and it leaves good lacing. Aroma smells like a nice funky saison, farmhouse notes, no smoke hints, smells refreshing like i expect a saison to be. Taste is standard saison at first with good funky yeast notes, then the roastiness comes in from the dark malt and it has a very dry floral bitter finish, not getting any smoke. Interesting beer, very refreshing , i got what i expected from these 3 awesome breweries.

Strange, interesting; I’ll try this again. Flavor is strong - smokey, malty, yeast and spices. Complex.

12oz bottle: pours a clear dark mahogany with a spotty-lacing light tan head. Has a lightly sweet dark malty nose with good smoke character and some resiny hops along with a touch of light fruity esters. Starts with good fullness and toasted malty sweetness with some coffee undertones and fresh smoke drying out slightly before a lingering bittersweet finish. Unique and enjoyable.

Pours out almost black with a big tan head. Aroma is of smoked malts, light dark dried fruits, some yeasty/earthy Saison notes, roast and a decent amount of hop bitterness coming through. Taste is much like the aroma; lots going on. Complex smoked malts, chocolate, light roast, dried dark fruits, light pepper, some earth, yeast and a solid punch of hop bitterness throughout that becomes more apparent in the finish. Well done!

Bottle from Marczyk. Pours a lovely ebony with a dense tan head. Aroma is complex with cheese, smoke, bubblegum, papery hops. The palate is very creamy. The yeast is potent in the flavor, about as intense as it can get without being unpleasant. Strong spiced notes are in the flavor and plenty of bubblegum. The finish calms things down with chocolate and smoke. This is very different and complex. I like it.
