3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle... Hazy pear-colored pour with a small, fizzy, white head. Good retention. The aroma offers loads of blueberries and some lemons accompanied by a light, bready component. The flavor is all about sour, fruity blueberries with a crisp, tart finish. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance: hazy pink the color of grapefruit juice, minimal head and no lacing. Aroma: very light aroma--some blueberries and black currants, light sourish funk. Taste: as the aroma indicates, but a little sweeter. Finish: short, slightly sweet. Notes: Not your typical berliner weisse--much more restrained and much less sour. Other than the color itself, there was very little character to this beer overall. Palate was actually very nice. Draught at Victoria’s Gastropub in Columbia, Maryland.

[ Bottle ][ ½ of 65cl ][ Tasting ][ $12 ][ Snifter ][ 9.26.14 ]
Hazy red-plum, thin white head lasts, ring and oily cap. Dusty hay manure nose, light blueberry skin, considerable acid. Heavy manure-lactic acid contrast front palate, manure winning in the dusty mid, lightly grainy, syrupy juice emerging behind heavy sweetness through the lightly dusty lactic end, skins all over in an expressively puckering finish. Acids way high, manure note too funky, and there’s some synthetic fruit in the flavor.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pour is a dark copper with a ruby hue and a lot of off white head. Nose is fleshy and meaty blueberry followed by a dirty malt, a lot of sugars, and a hint of lime. Taste is hot, fake meaty blueberry, dirty malts and grain, a hint of acetic acid, moderate acidity, and sugary finish. Body is messy, medium body, prickly finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark amber colored pour. Small white head. Little lacing. Big fruity aroma with notes of the ocean and lemon. Big blueberry flavor up front followed by a salty sweetness. A nice tartness.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz. bottle purchased at 7-11 in Kittery, ME about 3 months ago. Totally hazy gold with no head. Aroma is funky berries, yogurt, dusty wheat and weak lemon notes.
The flavor is nearly identical to the aroma. Yogurt, funky yeast, light tart berries ( but would never say blueberry) and some mild lactic acid notes in the backend. The body is light and tart. Overall, right in line with what it should be.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Up front confession - this is a style I am not a fan of. Then again, I haven’t had that many of them yet. Pinky, orangey weird pour with a thin pale pink head. Smells fruity, sour, and a bit of yeasty funk. Sour up front but not overly so, dry, blueberries, with a little sweetness despite the sour start. It actually was pretty good

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a nice hazy copper (gets more pink-ish as you progress into the bottle?) with a thin and fizzy white head that disappears rather quickly and do not leave much lacing. Nose is of freshly crushed blueberries and lemon. Taste is moderately tart and offers some nice berries and some cereals. Not as blueberry-forward as I was expecting but still nice. Body is light and mouthfeel a little watery, Carbonation is medium-high. Overall a nice and refreshing drink, falling short of my expectations but maybe I need to try the brunello version?

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared by James Daddy, pours hazy orange purple with small head. Notes are lactic penny, wood, rotten plum, sour cherry, and light vomit. Light to medium body. The draft version crushes this.
