3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml bottle @ Alex’s. Pours black with a small dark brown head. Nose is a weird fruity note, some grains, and some roasted character. Flavour is again that possibly dark fruit flavour, somewhat grassy grains, and a moderate roasted malt.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle - Molasses and dark sugars. Jet black with a rich brown head. Much like its nose, sweet and dark with some sugars and a long finish with booze. Nice silky mouthfeel. Not as good as I hoped.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled 3/24/16; 10% ABV
Blank color, medium brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, some chocolate, evident Band Aid. The mouthfeel is smooth, strong; the flavor is mostly chocolatey, sweet, with leather, but also too much boozyness.
Ungraceful but good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Chuck’s 85th, Seattle. Listed as 10.3%, so who knows the batch. Solid, heavy, wet black. Thick sweet, cherry fruity malt aroma. Heavy sip, lots of wet fruity alcohol. Heavy beer, about average body for the stated weight. Plenty of fresh soy, coffee, cherry fruit and more conventional stout flavors. Fairly tasty, no real flaw, but not the most interesting profile for this style and weight of stout.
