Bottle. Pours jet black with a creamy beige head. The aroma is highly roasted with licorice and roasted coffee notes. The flavor is very roasted and has licorice and oat notes. Heavy roasted finish.

Pours black with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, ash, light bacon smoke, alcohol and liquorish. Flavour is roasted malt, hot alcohol, bacon smoke, coffee, liquorish and chocolate.

Pour is jet black, viscous, with a dark brown head, thick, and a few bubbles on top. The nose is ashy, light roast, olive, touch of herbal hop. Taste is same, roast, ash, coffee bean, faint chocolate. Finish has some citrus hop and light herbal note, the roast lingers. Body is full, carbonation is nicely rounded. Flavors are well integrated but not of my favorite blend.

Black in the glass, a decent head. Lovely mixture of hops, malts and coffee. Pretty good brew for sure. Maybe just some over carbonation.

Dark roasted malts aroma, with some coffee. Taste of roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate malts. Bitter lasting aftertaste.

Color negro opaco con espuma biege oscura, aunque escasa. Aroma muy complejo: chocolate dulce, especias, café y ligero alcohol. En boca tiene una entrada ligeramente dulce que rápidamente pasa a un amargor especiado y con un ligero final alcóholico. Todo muy bien equilibrado. Como no podría ser de otra manera, su textura es densa, pese a lo cual se bebe muy bien. Muy grande esta Mini!!

Bomber from Sam’s, Durham. Oily dark brown pour with a potent looking tan head. Huge aroma, predominantly chocolate but with some char, molasses, and burnt caramel. Mouthfeel was thick and smooth, but not overly heavy as I often find with stouts of this gravity. Taste was as rich and darkly intense as the nose, but there was just enough balance with dry and bitter hops. Pretty fine example of the style.

Bottle. Thanks Paul. Black with dark brown head. Nice roasty aroma, chocolate, coffee, licorice. Similar taste, very balanced, roasty, chocolate and licorice. Good body, little sweet and a clean bitter finish. Very nice and balanced

Dark bitter roastiness full but still relatively light for a 12% ABV stout. Not as compiex as I would like but nice. Needs more depth too. nothing wrong though.
