Bottle split with mcberko. Pours cloudy pale yellow with white lacing. Aroma of yeast, white wine, stale fruits, hay and grass. Flavour the same including bread and cereal. Fresh and well balanced.

Bottle from Ridgewood Wine and Beer, Raleigh. Fairly dark pour for a blonde ale, roiling carbonation and some potent looking sediment oozing out late. Aroma was quite different from what I’d expected from a blonde aged in white wine barrels. Harsh, raw yeast, booze, and hops. Fairly nice mouthfeel, a bit too hot on the palate. Taste was just a bit too rough overall, with a raw, at times even medicinal tastes that leave my tongue feeling a bit violated.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange amber. Thick off white head an sea foam lacing. Nose of Belgian yeast, grapes, pepper, light malt, oak and a little banana. Moderately tart and highly carbonated. Taste of pepper, tart grapes, funky yeast

Pours a hazy and amber beer with a large white head. The aroma is malt, sweetness, yeast, fruit and pepper. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall this is a good beer. [Rating #2900]

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, oak and grapes. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Pours golden with a large white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast and light pepper. Flavour is malt, yeast, pepper, fruit and alcohol.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a slight orange hue and a thick white head that lasts throughtout the beer. Aroma has a pretty strong dry red wine note with a bit of yeast and backing sweet grains. Flavor has light fruit, sweet grains and yeast with a nice dry red wine finish. Got much better as it warmed.

Bottle, pours a very murky golden color, with thin white head and tiny clear bubbles. Small amount of sporadic lacing. Aromas of apples, brett, dark fruit, cherry, boozey grapes, vino. Taste is wine with apples soaked in hard alc. kinf od like a tripel, candy sugars, lots of yeast. Not worth the 17 bucks for a 12oz.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid canary with 3-finger clingy off-white head. Nose is floral hops, funky cobwebby yeasty light skinned esters, peppery spice. Tastes of big funky candi sugary malt, pineapple, florals, peppery notes. Complex palate, and a delight to behold.
