Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a slight orange hue and a thick white head that lasts throughtout the beer. Aroma has a pretty strong dry red wine note with a bit of yeast and backing sweet grains. Flavor has light fruit, sweet grains and yeast with a nice dry red wine finish. Got much better as it warmed.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 PhillyCraft (1964) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 27, 2012
Bottle, pours a very murky golden color, with thin white head and tiny clear bubbles. Small amount of sporadic lacing. Aromas of apples, brett, dark fruit, cherry, boozey grapes, vino. Taste is wine with apples soaked in hard alc. kinf od like a tripel, candy sugars, lots of yeast. Not worth the 17 bucks for a 12oz.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid canary with 3-finger clingy off-white head. Nose is floral hops, funky cobwebby yeasty light skinned esters, peppery spice. Tastes of big funky candi sugary malt, pineapple, florals, peppery notes. Complex palate, and a delight to behold.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bluejacket74 (992) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - MAR 31, 2012
11.2 ounce bottle, label says best before 2015. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a hazy golden/amber color with about a half inch off-white head that stays around a while. There’s also a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The brew smells mostly like white wine/white grapes, along with some pears, tropical fruit, and a bit of bubblegum. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some peppery spice and some tart fruit. Mouthfeel/body is medium, and it has a good amount of soft carbonation which helps make this brew easy to drink. Not sure if I’d buy this again at $8.99 a bottle, but I thought it was worth trying especially if you like wine barrel aged beers. It was a good brew, I liked it.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 porterhouse (1581) - Boothbay Harbor, Maine, USA - MAR 24, 2012
(330 ml (best before 2015) from Rising Tide) Cloudy gold-amber with a large, lumpy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, sour, Band-Aid, perhaps spice. Mouthfeel smooth, medium-full. Flavor is sour, lightly phenolic with some spice, fruit and caramel. Thick-flavored but off-putting to my palate.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 EHouse (163) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 9, 2012
Absolutely beautiful golden amber pour with a billowy white head that doesn’t want to go away. Aroma is light, spritzy and full of yeast. Medium body that is slick and hot with booze, tons of white wine (chardonnay) character dominates the pallet with a lingering tart tannic finish. Everything was great until I took a sip. This beer could definitely use some aging to develop esters and drop some of those fusels and tannins out o’ suspension.
4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Lukaduke (1005) - Portland, Maine, USA - MAR 8, 2012
Big Foamy Head starts this cloudy deep straw colored beer with tight orange peel, spice and sourdough notes on the nose. Bittersweet orange leads into a complex concoction of bubblegum, pepper, oak & tropical notes... then reappears and lingers very nicely on the back end. Very tasty beer and one of the best bangs for the buck from Evil Twin ! Very Interesting Beer.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Christian (9697) - Odense, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2012
Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Really intriguing yeat based aroma of pepper, peach, pineapple, coriander and bubblegum. Dry fruity and spicy flavour with definite white wine character

Botella bought @ the brewery 6th of Sep. ’11, bottled 3 weeks earlier, no real label, just the name. Nice golden unclear to hazy like with a small white head. Fresh fruity like and spice citrus aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour of fruit and citrus, bit spice, nicely hopped, dry.
