Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid canary with 3-finger clingy off-white head. Nose is floral hops, funky cobwebby yeasty light skinned esters, peppery spice. Tastes of big funky candi sugary malt, pineapple, florals, peppery notes. Complex palate, and a delight to behold.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Cybercat (2464) - Georgia, USA - DEC 15, 2011
Strong, malty aroma has a decided woody, bourbon overtone that is clearly from the barrels in which this was aged and a firm, somewhat sour fruity note. It pours a slightly hazy solar yellow with a thick, fluffy and rather persistent snow-white head. Flavor is rich and fruity, having pear and sour orange components with a strong but not fierce alcohol bite from the bourbon. Firm, lively texture is quite fizzy and sassy, leaving a satisfying sour orange and malty finish with a decent tingle.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 NikkTwist (897) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Bottle at Monks. Hazy orange pour with a big pillowy white head. Huge aroma of orange bubble gum. Peach taffy. Orange zest. Apricot. Honeydew. Nectarines. Green grapes. Some floral notes as well. Softly sweet with maybe a touch of sour. Finishes dry and oaky. Somewhat high ABV is well hidden. Well carbonated. Silky body for a Blonde. Very nice!
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 polomagnifico (1107) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - DEC 12, 2011
Bottle. Aroma has notes of white wine, Rieslings, bread, Belgian candy, citrus, dust, cobwebs and oak. Very nice nose. Hazy medium orange hue with a large white head that stuck around and left decent lace. Flavor is heavy sweet and light/medium bitter. Palate is full bodied, oily with average carbonation. Overall I really liked this brew. Great nose and above average in every other category. No clue why this one isn’t rated higher but I loved it. Bravo!

Very cloudy orange with lasting white head.
Nose is yeasty white wine...

Weisse yeast like taste and creaminess. Quite high carbonation but small and smooth bubbles. Fantastic brew.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 yespr (26103) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - OCT 28, 2011
33 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a creamy and off-white head. Aroma is distinct mixed phenolic and wineous green fruity. Smooth wineous, rather like a mixture of fifity-fifty beer and white wine. Strange beast in which one mouthfeel is smooth fruity, the next phenolic and a final one almost astringent and then returns the roller coaster ride. Smooth fruity, wineous and phenolic smooth to mellow yeasty finish.

Bottle. Pours a very cloudy gold, with a white head. Aroma is fruit, yeast, flowers, spices, and a little alcohol. Flavor is very much like the aroma, but with some white wine in there too. Crisp, with a medium body. Not as sweet as I thought it would be. A bit different and enjoyable.
